Glyn Davis is a professor of politics and public policy at Griffith University, and currently is on secondment as the Director General of the Premier 's Department in the Queensland Government. He is the co-author of Australian Policy Handbook.

Patrick Weller, Professor of Politics at Griffith University, has written extensively on Australian and comparative politics, in particular the area of executive government. His books include First Among Equals (1985), Malcolm Fraser PM (1989), and Dodging Raindrops: John Button (1999). He is the co- editor of Menzies to Keating: The Development of the Australian Prime Ministership (1992), New Ideas? Better Government? (1995) The Hollow Crown (1997), and Institutions on the Edge? Capacity for governance (2000).
