I commend te Velde for his derivational treatment of this difficult
subject matter. The empirical coverage of data in the book from
Dutch, English and German, as well as the aforementioned
theoretical treatment of coordinate structures, makes this book a
relevant read for anyone interested in Germanic languages and the
syntax of coordinate structures.
