Reviews

"In African Women s Unique Vulnerabilities to HIV/AIDS , African women are brought to the reader s attention in flesh and blood terms. This book, coming as it does from an experienced writer and a veteran researcher who has had first-hand contact with the African continent and its people imparts integrity and credibility. It is a useful addition to the literature on Women s studies, Gender studies, Sociology, HIV/AIDS studies, Media and Cultural studies, Communication Studies, and Interdisciplinary studies, and is also a compelling read for the general audience." - Foluke Ogunleye, Senior Lecturer, Department of Dramatic Arts, Obafemi Awolowo University
