Lena Palaniyappan is a Clinical Lecturer at the Division of
Psychiatry, Nottingham University. He is a gold medallist in
undergraduate psychiatry. He was awarded the coveted Laughlin Prize
for outstanding performance in MRCPsych (Autumn 2007). He has been
closely involved with the MRCPsych exams and has co-authored a book
for the old format exam in 2004. He has contributed to various
revision courses and online courses for the MRCPsych exam practice.
He has
conducted regular workshops for candidates taking MRCPsych exam at
various places including Nottingham, Derby and Newcastle. He is a
co-organiser of the reputed SPMM revision course for MRCPsych. His
main
academic interest is in exploring the neurobiology of psychiatric
disorders using neuroimaging techniques. He is involved in a
research programme at the Division of Psychiatry at Newcastle
University.
Rajeev Krishnadas is a Clinical Lecturer and Honorary Specialist
Trainee in Psychiatry. He has a background in general adult
psychiatry with a special interest in neurobiological underpinnings
of mood disorder. He completed his basic training in psychiatry at
the University of Bombay, India (MD, Dip NB) and Newcastle, UK
(MRCPsych). His main clinical and research interests include
neurocognition, neuroimmunology and neuroimaging of mood in
medically ill patients.
This book has to be highly recommended, in terms of format, clarity
of writing and detailed knowledge. However junior or senior the
reader, he or she will have a very positive learning experience

I am really impressed with this book. Very well written. All in all
I would say it is an excellent aid in practicing for the exam and
well worth the money.
