Natalie Righton worked as a spokesman for several NGO's (Non Government Organizations), including Doctors Without Borders and ICCO. For six years, she traveled in countries including Congo, India, and Zambia and has published extensively about her adventures. In 2006, she started working as a freelance journalist, focusing on human interest stories.
Ton Koene studied Humanitarian Development at Oxford and is a self-taught photographer. For sixteen years, he worked with Doctors Without Borders, including stints in Rwanda, Sudan, and Afghanistan. Since 2006, he is a fulltime photographer, publishing in national and international magazines and newspapers. Tom won second prize in the 2012 World Press Photo Contest in the Portraits category.
