Philip Foday Yamba Thulla was born in Lunsar, Sierra Leone. He holds a master's degree from Njala University in Sierra Leone. He has published a compilation of short stories, "Homecoming: Knowing My People and Other Stories" and co-authored a short novel entitled "The Chameleon Goes Home". He is presently a PhD student in African Folk Literature (The Temne people) and a lecturer in Literature at the Institute of Languages and Cultural Studies, Njala University, Sierra Leone. He has just completed a full-length fictional memoir entitled, "Saving the State House: the Confession of a Thug". Fatou Taqi nee Cole is the Director of Academic & Career Advisory & Counselling Services and the Students Complaints Commission at the University of Sierra Leone. She also co-ordinates the University ICT Team. She is a lecturer at the Department of Language Studies and the Institute for Gender Research & Documentation at Fourah Bay College, USL. Fatou is currently the President of the 50/50 Group (SL). She is passionate about women's empowerment and gender equity. She enjoys being a mother, travelling & networking.
