Chapters ONE to NINETEEN; Other GBP Publications
As an oilfield engineer, initially inside war-torn Biafra where he was in a hostage situation and also abducted by the Federal Army chief, then later in Kuwait, where his wife was taken prisoner by Saddam Hussein, the author turned to change management for the new Hong Kong airport construction during the territory's loss to China. He was later assigned as an IT firm's representative in S. Africa, working there during the xenophobic outbreaks that marred the World Cup. It is hardly surprising that the writer's first work, in which the characters challenge and even contradict mainstream science, is an action adventure. Related: Enid Bagnold author of National Velvet and Brig Ralph Bagnold (Fellow of the Royal Society and Founders' Gold Medalist of the Royal Geographical Society) whose sand dune research is used in NASA's Mars Rover designs.
ERIN COOK reviewer: fast paced... unique and well written... full of action, adventure and humour
