Neal was born and raised in Chichester but now lives with his family in Portsmouth. Neal is the author of the Oscar and Arabella series (Smarties Prize Bronze Award), The Story of Everything and Emily's Animals and is the illustrator of Jenny Oldfield's 'Totally Tom' series, Cressida Cowell's 'Emily Brown' series and many many more books.
