In addition to helping teachers better support children's thinking, this book eloquently reminds us of the kind of teaching that touches the heart, engages the mind, and will ultimately produce the kind of citizens we need in our society." --Stephanie Feeney, PhD, professor emerita of education, University of Hawaii-Manoa
