About the Author

A mother of two married sons and four grandchildren, her 35 year career as an educator is no longer in a public school building. Rogene, also known as Jeannie, teaches by writing short stories and devotionals, maintaining and sharing her farm gardens and black walnut plantation, and serving as a lay minister. And, every day, the teacher becomes a student by listening, reading, observing, and loving. Life is good as a child of God.
