eBJohn P. Grant is Professor of Law at Lewis & Clark School of Law
in Portland, Oregon. He previously taught at the law schools of
Aberdeen, Dundee and Glasgow, at the last of which he served as
dean for a total of 8 years. Professor Grant has acted as a
consultant in legal education and in international law. His
principal research interests are in general international law,
human rights and international criminal law. His recent
publications include
Lockerbie Trial: A Documentary History (2004, Oceana),
International Criminal Law Deskbook (with Barker, 2006, Cavendish),
The Harvard Research in International Law: Contemporary Analysis
and Appraisal and The
Harvard Research in International Law: Original Materials (with
Barker, 2007, 2008, Hein).
J. Craig Barker is Professor of Law and Head of Department in the
Sussex Law School, University of Sussex, England. He was previously
lecturer and senior lecturer at the University of Reading. His
research is primarily in the field of international law and, in
particular, the law of international immunities. He has also
written on the subjects of international security, in particular in
relation to terrorism; international criminal law; and the
relationship between
international law and international relations. He is author of
three monographs, three edited books and a number of articles in
referred journal.
