Born in Sydney, Marion von Adlerstein has lived and worked in her native city and in Melbourne, London, New York and Venice. Between 1976 and 1998 she held several posts with Vogue Australia and its stablemate Vogue Living, including Travel Director. In 1986, Marion wrote the Vogue Guide to Good Form, a one-off magazine subtitled 'How to be socially impeccable -- from penning an epistle to spearing a snail'. She is the author of Home Truths and The Penguin Book of Etiquette, both published by Penguin.
