Edmund Campion has been Chair of the Literature Board of the Australia Council, and a judge of major Australian literary awards. Named "Best Columnist 2008" by the Australian Catholic Press Association and awarded an honorary Doctor of Letters degree by the University of Sydney in 2005. He is the author of eleven books, including "Rockchoppers (Penguin).
