About the Author

CATHERINE SASANOV currently lives in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but over the years she has traveled widely, including two years spent living in Sao Paulo, Brazil. She has recieved fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, Mexico's Fondo Nacional para la Cultura y las Artes (FONCA) and the Massachusetts Artists Foundation. In 1995, she was the recipient of an NEA Creative Artist's Residency in Mexico City.
