About the Author

Writing books is 'my' dream come true. As a Belgium journalist my ideas and writings have given me the opportunity to travel extensively through Europe and China, which has resulted in an international Journalism Award in Italy, three travel books and a book on modern Eastern European art. And last but not least my first novel ' The Earth has Fever.' My writings have also put me on the road to Oman, in Dhofar the Southern region bordering with Yemen, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates. The place has inspired me to write the book ' The DNA of Salalah, Dhofar. A Tourist Guide' and 'Treasure Chest Salalah-Dhofar' (Arabic/English). I developed the blogmagazine https: //alarba.wordpress.com. All this guided me to my latest publication 'Whispers of Oman, ' mainly women stories..., perhaps because of the fact that I am a woman myself.
