  • Girlschool, one of the first all-female heavy metal bands to find fame, debuted in 1978, and in 2008 they decided to celebrate their 30th anniversary with the release of LEGACY. While the album is ostensibly a celebration of the British band's longevity, it finds them rocking with freshness and vitality, alongside a stellar set of guests from the metal world's top tier, including Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and Motorhead mainman Lemmy.
