Reviews

"Had she wished to, in addition to her immortal achievements in other genres, Woolf could have written the greatest children's books of the age. There is much to suggest this,
beginning of course with her extaordinary powers of imagination and verbal invention,
the vividness and clarity of her prose, and the hushed, distilled quality that makes you
bring the book a little closer to your nose."--Sigrid Nuez, The Mrs. Dalloway Reader "A perfectly realized blend of text and illustration."--Kirkus Reviews "A joyful tale of transformation."--Booklist
