With his debut, A THOUSAND SUNS, Alex is already establishing himself on the thriller scene - very solid sales and good review coverage. This is a wonderful subject - an disaster 'movie' with a very topical twist - THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW for the oil-poor world. Alex combines big-picture action with great characters better than any other young Briitish thriller writer out there. This should appeal beyond the predominantly male audience of A THOUSAND SUNS.
