One of the most famous science fiction and fantasy authors of all
time, Andre Norton was named Grand Master by the Science Fiction
Writers of America and received a Life Achievement World Fantasy
Award. She wrote over a hundred novels, which have sold millions of
copies worldwide, including her" Witch World," " Beast Master," "
Solar Queen," and the" Time Traders" series. Miss Norton died in
March, 2005, not long after publication of her novel "Three Hands

Lyn McConchie has written many novels. Her collaborations with
Andre Norton include the Witch World novels "The Duke's Ballad" and
"The Key of the Keplian," and "Beast Master's Ark" and "Beast
Master's Circus." She has won Sir Julius Vogel awards for Best
Science Fiction and Fantasy Novel by a New Zealander for each of
her Beast Master collaborations. She lives in Norsewood, New
Zealand, where she writes...and runs a farm.
