Ciruelo was born in 1963 in Argentina. He works for prominent publishers in the US and Europe, creating fantasy art for book covers, prints, calendars and more. He lives with his wife, Daniela and their children, Angelo and Lys, in Sitges, a quaint and magical town near Barcelona on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea.
