About the Author

New York Times bestselling author Susan Squires is a third-generation northern Californian whose father almost disowned her for moving south to get her master's degree in English literature from UCLA. Now she lives at the southern California beach with her husband, a writer of paranormal mysteries. She owns two Belgian sheepdogs, and trains them (or they train her) for dog trials. She's an avid knitter and a hockey fan, which surprises even her. She has travelled extensively in England doing research for her historical novels. Her books have been named Best Books of the Year by Publishers' Weekly, and Reviewer's Choice by RT Book Reviews. They have been nominated for Romance Writers of America Rita awards and have won the Holt Medallion, the Golden Heart, Book Buyer's Best and many other contests.
