About the Author

Rie Sheridan Rose has been writing professionally since the turn of the century, her first novel having been published in 2000-though she added the "Rose" on the end fairly recently. After putting up with her for over a decade, she decided her husband had earned the recognition. Earliest work appears under "Rie Sheridan." In this time, she has published 7 novels, 3 short story collections, 2 chapbooks of collected stories, and 5 poetry collections as well as contributing to numerous anthologies-and editing a couple. Her poetry has appeared in Mythic Circle, Dreams of Decadence, Apex & Abyss, Aberrant Dreams, Abandoned Towers, Electric Wine and Tapestry. She has also written the lyrics to over two dozen songs for Marc Gunn. Most of these can be found on the "Don't Go Drinking With Hobbits" and "Pirates Vs Dragons" CDs. Her favorite thing to write at the moment are Conn-Mann stories, so expect many more! She lives in Texas with her husband, Newell, and several cats, all spoiled rotten.
