About the Author

Chloe Neill is the New York Times and USA Today bestselling author of the Captain Kit Brightling, Heirs of Chicagoland, Chicagoland Vampires, Devil's Isle, and Dark Elite series. She was born and raised in the South but now makes her home in the Midwest, where she lives with her husband and their dogs, Baxter and Scout. Suzanne Elise Freeman spent her childhood watching her father act on stage, and causing mischief in the booth while he was on-air for the local radio station. She inherited her love of storytelling from him (even playing his daughter in On Golden Pond), and her passion for reading from her mother.
