John Miller is the author of biographies of Judi Dench, Peter Ustinov and Ralph Richardson. He collaborated with John Gielgud on An Actor and His Time and Acting Shakespeare. Before he began his writing career, John worked in TV and radio (for the BBC) and for ten years until 1992 for the South of England ITV and company, TVS. He lives in Hampshire and is the Artistic Director of the Winchester Festival.
