About the Author

Peter J.F. Davie is Senior Curator of Crustacea at the Queensland Museum, Brisbane and a past-president of the Australian Marine Conservation Society. He has written nearly 60 scientific papers and has co-edited and contributed to a number of books. His research is currently centered on the taxonomy and classification of mangrove and other intertidal crabs.
