Collective Biographies series. The books in this series deliver what they promise: synopses of the lives of ten people with similar interests, including both the predictable, such as Bill Gates, and the unusual, such as venture capitalist Ann Winblad. But often the complexity of the subjects' work defies brief explanations, and the short, choppy sentences exacerbate instead of solve the problem.
