About the Author

Bradford Washborn has been writing for publication since he was a teenager and here collaborates with award-winning author Lew Freedman, who has written twenty other books on sports and personalities in traditional and adventure sports. A former sports editor of the Anchorage Daily News, and the Chicago Tribune, has written over 20 books focused on Alaska. He is also the winner of numerous jouralism awards. He lives in Indiana.
