About the Author

Celia Eddy discovered patchwork in the 1970s, and was fascinated by the infinite design possibilities of mosaic pattern. She has been quilting ever since, and is also a keen researcher of the history of patchwork and quilting in American and British traditions. Celia is Acting Heritage Officer and coordinator of The British Quilt Study Group, and a member of The Quilter's Guild of the British Isles. Inbetween giving lectures, and writing articles on quilt history, tradition, and design, she has authored a number of books. Celia runs her own on-line quilting and patchwork magazine, Quilstory (www quilt.co.uk).
