"Forty-one specialists in different areas of the psychology of sexual orientation present their theories and results of research in this unique, single volume on this growing new field of knowledge and understanding of our sexuality. This is an authoritative text on the subject by experts and will be useful to students, educators, clinicians, and researchers. We congratulate Drs. Patterson and D'Augelli, and all contributors of material." --Sonu Chandiram,
Biz India
"This volume covers a wide range of topics and issues both germane to and impacting the psychological and physical well-being, social, professional, and family lives of sexual minorities. It more than succeeds at its goal of presenting a comprehensive view of current sexual orientation research; it surpasses it entirely. This edition is exceedingly well organized, each chapter in this edited volume is exhaustively referenced and written by and large with
scholarly precision and clarity. ... This book would be an excellent textbook for graduate or advanced undergraduate courses. It also could prove a very useful reference source for clinicians and researchers
alike due to its ability to quickly point one to the important research in a very wide range of areas." --Journal of Gay & Lesbian Mental Health
