Tomas Riad is Professor of Scandinavian Languages at the University of Stockholm. He has published numerous articles on Scandinavian and Gothic phonology in scholarly journals, including Fonetik, the Nordic Journal of Linguistics, and Journal of Germanic Linguistics.
