Metapoetry in Euripides provides many rich and challenging readings
of individual Euripidean texts
*Jan Haywood, Bryn Mawr Classical Review*
In her [Torrance's] rich and intelligent study the numerous
metapoetic features of Euripidean drama are scrupulously assembled
and thoroughly analysed, with persuasive results ... The book
should command an audience among scholars and advanced students,
who will profit greatly from its intelligence and interest.
*Barbara Goff, Hermathena*
