He has also written for Town & Country, Delta Sky, and has a newsletter that goes out to 40,000 subscribers. He was the winner of the 2009 National Magazine Award and was nominated for the James Beard Journalism Award. He has been called by The Philadelphia Inquirer 'the most influential food-wine critic in the popular press.' He lives in Tuckahoe, New York.
