Reviews

While not denigrating the military genius of World War II German general, Field Marshal Erwin Rommel, Mitcham has written this work to highlight the talents of his first-rate supporting staff that helped him achieve his reputation as The Desert Fox. He provides brief descriptions of their military careers and more detailed discussion of their tactics and strategies in World War II, up to and through the desert campaigns of Africa.
