Trabert presents a highly critical commentary on the current state of professional tennis, tracing its troubles back to 1968 when players were first paid for winning tournaments. He claims the game has evolved into a ``global money chase'' dominated by greedy promoters, players, and agents more concerned with money than the sport. To reverse the trend, he recommends a greater effort by parents and instructors to instill a sense of loyalty and appreciation of the game.
