Frederick Fyvie Bruce (12.10.1910-11.11.1990) was educated at the Universities of Aberdeen, Cambridge, and Vienna. He was Rylands Professor of Biblical Criticism and Exegesis at the University of Manchester and Editor of The Evangelical Quarterly and Palestine Exploration Quarterly.
