Maegan BetGivargis-McDaniel is a secondgeneration Assyrian who has lived in Connecticut all her life. She graduated with her associate in science degree from Tunxis Community College in the spring of 2006. She is currently a student at Hampshire College, where she is working toward a bachelor's degree in political science.
