Reviews

[The authors] have produced a volume that provides a comprehensive overview of symbolic interaction's intellectual origins, its early development . . . and its relationship to kindred theoretical camps. One inescapable conclusion is that symbolic interaction is a far more diffused and varied enterprise today as compared to its early years.
