About the Author

Hsain Ilahiane is Assistant Professor of Anthropology at Iowa State University, Ames, Iowa. His primary research focuses on natural and cultural resource management, ethnicity and social mobility, and technological and cultural change. Professor Ilahiane also studies the uses of mobile technology in economic, social, and cultural development in Morocco. He holds a doctorate in Anthropology from the University of Arizona.
