About the Author

The Author: Moira R. Rogers is Associate Professor of International Studies and Coordinator of Foreign Language Programs at Southwestern College in Winfield, Kansas. A native of Buenos Aires, Argentina, she received her Ph.D. in science and technology studies from the Center for Studies of Science in Society, Virginia Tech. She is the author of several articles and a member of: Phi Beta Delta, the Honor Society for International Scholars; Sigma Xi, the National Research Society; and Phi Kappa Phi.
