About the Author

Susan H. Swetnam has taught high school students, undergraduates, and graduate students, and has facilitated workshops for children and creative writers. She has been honored as Idaho State University's Distinguished Teacher, where she is a professor of English Literature. She is also a literary critic and freelance essayist.
