"This is an important and skillfully written book that deserves to
reach a wide audience. . . . The book concludes with the question
of whether global diffusion also means the global disintegration of
Evangelicalism. Anyone interested in this question, which is vital
to the future of the movement, should read this book."
*John Maiden, Journal of Ecclesiastical History, October 2014*
"Stanley's valuable historical overview provides all of us with a
great deal to consider."
