The body of this book is a set of over 1000 definitions about star wars, arms control, and the technology involved. Included is the text of the Anti-Ballistic Missile Treaty and later agreements between the United States and the Soviet Union plus Reagan's speech of 1983 that began the Strategic Defense Initiative (SDI). The book does a good job of giving quick definitions of words such as laser, microwave, and especially of arcane acronyms like HEIDI, HOE etc. Larger libraries needing a one-volume reference work detailing SDI will find this valuable.
