About the Author

After his art studies in Antwerp, Belgium, Dahlqvist worked over the years for companies of a highly different nature: design, promotion, translation, DTP, IT, and shipping. The countless trips Dahlqvist embarks on also form a great source to describe all kinds of situations and environments. These experiences create a source of information that is intertwined in his novels, published in both Dutch and Swedish. Another side of Dahlqvist is his interest in the past, delving into research for historical books. In his novels and short stories, Dahlqvist mixes reality, fiction, and memories, but his historical books keep to the facts. Dahlqvists' English non-fiction book "From Martin to Despallier" is the result of fifteen years of fact-finding and data compiling. Researching archives in various countries around the globe, Dahlqvist has now finished this most comprehensive work.
