Reviews

"The book covers the various organizations and how they were combined in 1944 as the FFI... [It] gives a good view of the resistance role and how the fighters were equipped and supported by the allies." --Joe Kauffman, SITEO Newsletter (October 2007) "Terry Crowdy's French Resistance Fighter: France's Secret Army surveys the underground force that was the French Resistance during the war, covering patriot activities, motivation and achievements." --The Bookwatch (December 2007) "Terry Crowdy's French Resistance Fighter: France's secret army joins the 'Warrior' series to analyze the French Resistance which terrorized German forces. Photos and first-hand accounts of struggle, capture and torture at the hands of Germans make for a striking account suitable for in-depth World War II collections." --California Bookwatch (August 2007) "Illustrated by Steve Noon, also provided are full page color illustrations detailing scenes from the Resistance in addition to many black and white photos... Although a relatively small book at 64 pages, it is highly informative and educational." --Timothy Baghurst, The Traveler (September 2007)
