The New Politics of Sinn Fein contains by far the best material on the transitions within Irish Republicanism that I have read. There are undoubtedly books on Irish republicanism but NONE has reviewed the ideological shifts that have taken place as coherently as Kevin. -- Peter Shirlow Queen's University, Belfast
