Reviews

`There is so much here for both the student and the `intelligent lay reader' but it is also required reading for more experienced historians of both English and British football. Its perceptive conclusions, new areas of emphasis and useful footnotes all ensure an appeal and importance for the established academic sports history community.' Soccer and Society
