Paying open tribute to the tone and illustrative style of Kenneth Anger's "Hollywood Babylon", this expose of Washington politics revives the disreputable profession of muckraking, scrutinizing with an unforgiving eye the political culture of the Clinton era.
Alexander Cockburn was the co-editor of CounterPunch and the author of a number of titles, including Corruptions of Empire, The Golden Age Is in Us, Washington Babylon and Imperial Crusades. Down and dirty muckraking.
