About the Author

William Fotheringham writes chiefly on cycle racing and rugby for the 'Guardian' and 'Observer'. Called 'Put Me Back On My Bike' (Yellow Jersey), it has been hailed as 'the best cycling biography ever written'. He was also the editor/compiler of 'Fotheringham's Sporting Trivia' (Sanctuary). He lives near Leominster and is currently working on a biography of the legendary Italian cyclist, Fausto Coppi.
