The Author: Yolanda Rodriguez Perez is Associate Professor in the Department of Spanish, Utrecht University, the Netherlands. Her research deals primarily with the relations between Spain and the Netherlands in the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries, focusing on literary representations and Dutch translations of Spanish works of the Golden Age.
