ANUPAMA CHOPRA is a film critic, television anchor and author. She has been writing about the Hindi film industry since 1993. Her work has appeared in publications such as The New York Times, Hindustan Times, The Los Angeles Times, Sight and Sound and Vogue (India). She has worked extensively with Star World, Star Plus and NDTV 24/7. Anupama is also the creative director of the Mumbai Film Festival. She is also founder and editor of the Film Companion channel on YouTube (www.youtube.com/user/thefilmcompanion). In 2001, Anupama won the National Award for her book Sholay: The Making of a Classic.
